Road Trips for Beer

Road Trips for Beer checks out the Maine Beer Trail. Read all about it at this link.

They also give a shout out to the Maine Craft Beer Comes to Boothbay event on Saturday, July 30:

Taste a Lot of the Beer at Once

If you’re planning to take a Road Trip for Beer to The Pine Tree State any time soon, you might want to schedule it to encompass the Craft Beer Comes to Boothbay festival from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011. The event at the Boothbay Resort in Boothbay will feature beers from most of the brewers on the Maine Beer Trail. Special guest Sam Calagione, founder of Dogfish Head Brewing Company in Delaware, will attend and bring some of his brewery’s lauded brews, including 120 Minute IPA and Bitches Brew.

All of the proceeds will support the Maine Brewers’ Guild and its continuing mission to promote the craft beer industry in Maine.

Tickets are $50 and include beverages and traditional Southern barbecue.
